Future options After achieving your Level 1 qualification you can progress to Level 2, an apprenticeship or full-time work as a trainee wall and floor tiler. Course includes This one-year course will train you in the principles of building construction, health and safety on the work site and the basics of wall and floor tiling. You will have practical sessions learning how to prepare tiles and the work area for installation, applying and fixing material and the safe and proper handling and storage of your tools and equipment. Course Title Location Intermediate Apprenticeship in Wall and Floor Tiling Moulton Apprenticeships in Wall and Floor Tiling Apprentices in Wall and Floor Tiling will have a permanent job in the sector and will combine work and college-based training. At college, you’ll learn theory and develop your practical skills which will then be assessed to establish your competence within your workplace. You will attend college on a day release basis and these frameworks usually take two years to complete. The intermediate apprenticeship is ideal if you are just starting a career as a Wall and Floor Tiler working on domestic or commercial premises.
