With you every step of the way You’ll find plenty of support on hand whenever you need it… We want you to be successful, not just during your time at Moulton College, but with anything you take on after your time here. We realise no two students are the same and have created a support network to help you succeed in a way that works for you. We’re an ‘open-access’ college, this means we aim to offer opportunities to all who study here, rather than only those with the best academic ability. Our concern is making sure we match the right person with the right course. Personal Tutor We’ll provide you with a friendly face during your time with us who is there to discuss any problem, academic or otherwise. They’ll be part of your course team and usually have teaching input, so you’ll get to know them in no time. Student Support We can provide a wide range of additional advice and guidance that you might need that’s not directly related to your course. Our support staff are here for you when it comes to your future. You’ll receive regular information on careers advice and guidance. This is built into your course and is usually delivered by your course tutor in conjunction with the Careers Team and Learning Advisers. The Student Support group also include a team of wardens who provide support for students living in college residences. Learning Support Staff These can help and support you with any additional learning needs you have. We can develop a plan with you, which might range from regular contact with the Learning Support Team to a Learning Support Assistant to work with you in the classroom or workshop. We welcome mature students who want to return to education in later life. You’ll benefit from the same level of support as any other student to ensure your time at Moulton is both rewarding and enjoyable.
