The aim of this module is for the learner to develop a broad knowledge and understanding regarding the theoretical aspects of horse health. The students will gain insight with respect to the implications of modern management techniques, including the cause and treatment of common health issues. In addition, learners will evaluate a variety of management regimes, and their subsequent impact on horse health and welfare.
