The aim of this module is to equip students with a knowledge of equine sports injuries, and an understanding of the sports medicine underpinning diagnosis, in addition to the critical assessment of prophylactic methods. A detailed evaluation of the cellular physiology and pathogenesis of injury and wound healing will also be covered.
