Future options Students who achieve an extended diploma can further their studies at university. Alternatively, you may can go on to be a competition rider, riding/ exercise groom, competition groom, therapy groom, assistant yard manager, business owner, events manager or veterinary nurse (following further study). Some students go onto work for feed companies or saddlers/tack shops and others will break and school horses and/or livery. Course includes You will be able to successfully care for our horses in a range of ways including monitoring their physical health and nutrition, and improving their overall health. You will enhance your knowledge of horse anatomy and physiology to an advanced level and will be able to safely and correctly rehabilitate horses with a range of problems and conditions. You will work closely with the horses to monitor and improve their fitness, health and behaviour as well as carrying out general maintenance of the stables.
